Terms of Service

By using Threadmill ("the Service"), operated at threadmill.dev, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Threadmill is an AI-powered content repurposing tool. You upload podcast or video episodes, and the Service generates transcripts, LinkedIn posts, Twitter threads, and quote cards using automated transcription and language models.

2. Account Responsibility

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed by Creem.io, our Merchant of Record. Creem handles billing, tax compliance, refunds, and chargebacks. By subscribing, you also agree to Creem's Terms of Service.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and include a set number of episode credits per billing cycle.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
• You can cancel anytime through the customer portal. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Refund requests are handled by Creem.io per their refund policy.

4. Content Ownership

• Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you upload and all content generated from your uploads.
• Our license: You grant Threadmill a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service (transcription, AI generation, storage). We do not use your content for training AI models or any other purpose.
• Removal: When you delete an episode or your account, we remove your content from our systems and storage.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that you do not have the rights to use.
• Upload illegal, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, abuse the API, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service for spam generation or any form of automated mass posting that violates platform terms.
• Resell access to the Service without written permission.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Threadmill available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content generated by Threadmill is produced by AI models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not perfectly represent the source material. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before publishing it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threadmill and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

• You may close your account at any time. Your data will be permanently deleted.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email on your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
